A culture is something we're born into, it's passed down to us from our parents which was passed down from their parents, so on and so forth. For example, African, Italian, Hispanic, etc. There are behaviors that come naturally to us because it's part of who we are and the culture we were raised in. As Beau mentioned, we are pushing to create a culture of the prophetic, a people that understand the nature of God, what He wants to do here in the earth and are able to open the door for those things to happen in the lives of those we come across effortlessly.

I was thinking about what it means to be a prophetic generation. The prophetic deals with the future. You are seeing things to come and are hearing from heaven. A generation is a collective group of people who are born and living around the same time. This means that a prophetic generation cannot be a single person or of a few; it is on a much larger scale.

It has been taught that what was missing in the previous revivals we have had in our nation is that those who were involved did not create a culture. It's never God's intent to do a thing and then have it "dwindle" down as the next move comes. It's to be learned and passed down to the next generation. If this generation [my generation] is going to be prophetic, we have to:

(1) Understand how to function and operate in the prophetic.
(2) Be able to cultivate a culture of the prophetic for the next generation.

To add to what Beau said about looking down on those who did not make it, there was a question that was asked of us not too many weeks back: how many lives and/or destinies are connected to our own? Though the answer to that question is unknown to us, it causes there to be a greater sense of urgency to understand and apply what is being taught so that not only we advance, but we’re able to pass down what we know to others to ensure that their lives reflect that of ongoing success in what the Lord has created them for.

In class on Monday, we were given the image of finding ourselves in heaven looking down at those who didn't make it. The thought of leading a generation in the wrong direction is quite frightening. What we are a part of and involved in is so much bigger than us.

Being a prophetic generation means we are saying what God is saying, know His Will and what is on His heart, and are leading the next generation into what God has in store for them. If this generation isn't connected with God AND the brethren, then there is room for error. That is something we cannot have. Fellowship is essential if we are to be a prophetic generation.

I was speaking to a pastor about olive oil .. And he told me how extra virgin olive oil is called that because it is the first press! It is more savory or tasty too.. I was thinking about RTN and how we are part of the first press!! Glory!!
I did a little more digging "There are different varieties of olive oil that are set apart not by the type of olive that's used, but the process used to extract the oil"
and "Extra virgin is the highest quality and most expensive olive oil classification."

It's all about the process..
No chemicals are used.. It's the juice straight from the olives.. I read that It's not easy to produce extra virgin olive oil though .. The whole process has to be done a certain way..

"A producer must use fresh olives in good condition and monitor every step of the process with great care."

"It should have no defects and a flavor of fresh olives. It must be produced entirely by mechanical means without the use of any solvents, and under temperatures that will not degrade the oil."
"Extra virgin olive oil doesn't stay that way: Even in perfect storage conditions, the oil will degrade over time, so it's important to enjoy it within its two-year shelf life."

But what I also found really interesting is that real extra virgin oil is hard to come by...

"Virgin olive oils that have no taste defects and pass strict tests in terms of chemistry can be labeled 'Extra Virgin.'

Virgin olive oils that have modest taste defects and meets somewhat less strict chemical parameters are labeled 'Virgin.' Unfortunately, you don't see 'Virgin' oils for sale because too often producers market 'Virgin' oils as 'Extra Virgin' to command higher prices. Until standards enforcement catches up with the practice, real 'Extra Virgin' will be hard to come by."

God is producing the real deal!!!
Our standard is of the highest quality of standards.. The best is produced by the most strategic, unadulterated process and Although difficult, it will produce the finest quality of ministers.. The process we are going through is tough but worth the benefit.. God is about to release his best!! The first press is the best! Extra virgin identifies the highest quality..
This is beyond just us..
It is what God is doing throughout the nations..

Apostle said we've been hand picked and selected for the first press. No defects! The best of what God has! Now do we dare to pray "Lord press us!"

Press us Lord that we may produce the finest and highest quality so that you would be upon us with great power !

I have been studying the notes I have taken on our classes & discussions regarding the topic of confessions. It amazes me how often we tend to speak how we feel without giving any thought about (1) the words we use, and (2) what is being done in the realm of the Spirit through the words we release in the atmopshere.

The common question we get hear throughout our days is, "How are you?" And let's be honest, the first thing we think of is how we feel physically or emotionally and respond accordingly. This is one out of several areas where we need to CHANGE our ways! Even if you are feeling weak or stressed, the first thing that needs to come out of our mouth should be our steadfast confession. I am well! I am strong! I am ready to seize this day!

If you confess how you feel at a given moment and those confessions do not align with what God has to say about you, then know you are speaking against His divine purpose for your life. We confess spiritual truths that have not yet manifested in the natural. The truth is the truth. And if we know it is ours, then we need to see it here! "In the last days, it shall come to pass..."

Alleluia! Praise the Lord. He has placed us in this time and positioned us to receive ALL of His promises.

If we believe we are called to be a prophetic generation, then the least we can do is to say what God is saying. Prophesy the Word of the Lord!

We are moving into the greatest revival this nation has seen. God is bringing increase to our capacity to hold and retain all that He is pouring out. Now is a crucial time in the Body of Christ to push, study, pray. We must be in the right place in the right time. If we can be faithful in this, then we can be faithful in much. Mass healings, deliverance, and salvations will take place once again here in the United States. We speak revival, hear the sound that precedes it, and will see revival!

As Josue mentioned earlier, there is a training process involved in the prophetic. Just as with any relationship, you will need to put in time and commitment to see growth and development. The importance is knowing God, hearing His Voice, and UNDERSTANDING what He is speaking!

There are three questions to ask that allow us to "check" the message we are bringing forth:

(1) What is the source / Who is speaking?

(2) What is the message?

(3) How was the message revealed?

At one of our Power Courses, we spoke about the importance of prophets being trained by prophets. You cannot have an evangelist teaching a prophet how to prophesy. It would be the same as asking an accountant to teach you how to perform open-heart surgery. An accountant is not a surgeon in any way! For those who are called by the Lord to be a prophet, it is essential that they train under a seasoned prophet.

The prophetic truly is awesome! It opens up doors for people to walk into their destiny! For people to become the habitation of God and fulfill their purpose in life! It is complex though, it is so mysterious that it must be approached with caution..

It takes faith to prophesy. To say what you know you heard the Lord say. It takes years or rather a lifetime of ongoing training to really develop an ear to hear and wisdom to know what to say and what not to say. It takes an apprenticeship from someone who has a good track record.. Samuel had Eli, Elisha had Elijah. There was even a school of prophets in the Old Testament which shows us training is really important and worthy to be endeavored! We must learn the operations and ways of the prophetic! How do you know you heard from God and not another voice? How do you know if what you saw in a vision was the Lord showing you verses being so eager to see that you you end up tapping into the imagination or soulish realm? But what about this question...How do you train a generation? I believe the Lord has been and is going to be revealing and releasing strategies on how to do this. I believe technology has a big part to do with getting this done but watch and see an increase in prophetic training.. These are great times where the body of Christ is being fortified in the apostolic and prophetic! Watch what God is doing as we are nearing the end of a decade!

"But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort." 1 Corinthians 14:3

The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians that he would rather ALL prophesy than speak in tongues. Praying in the prayer language the Lord has given is extremely important in our Christian walk, but it is even better to prophesy. Tongues may be interpreted but it is better that we speak in our native tongue to "edify, exhort, and comfort" the brethren.

Edification - to build up a person; to speak spiritual advancement into someone's life

Exhortation - an intimate call to come closer; encouragement on that which is to come

Comfort - consolation; words that bring relief and peace

What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? It is the coming of the kingdom of God. It is Christ taking over in a life. No more do I live unto myself-that is over with! Now, thank God, according to His eternal purpose, He has taken over.  More»
