The Lord never comes in portions or "pieces" but always in fullness. He said that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled (Matthew 5:6). This shows that there is a requirement if we want what God has. There must be a strong desire within the believer to know His will and understand the deeper things of God. And as Jesus promised in His Sermon on the Mount, that is how we will obtain it. If He said it, believe it. My prayer is that God would give us a hunger to encounter Him, experience His Presence, and that our eyes and ears would be open to receive the revelation that He is releasing in this season. God wants a Spirit-filled Church that loves Him and the world He died for, a people that know His Word / know Him, and believers that can walk in Kingdom Power.

"Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns [protects] you with love and compassion,"... Psalm 103:2-4

Praise God for His grace to us. He is a good and loving Father who has made everyone free in Christ Jesus. Everything that would separate us from a relationship with Our Father was nailed to the cross in Jesus. "'He himself bore our sins' in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "'by his wounds you have been healed.'" 1 Peter 2:24

He died, not for one of us, but for all of us in order that we may be saved. "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 And God raised Him to newness of life. "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:4

We are freed to live a life empowered by God's love. It is ours. In order to walk in it, we must understand and align our thoughts and therefore our words with God's. Starting with God's written word, we begin to learn how God thinks. By the Holy Spirit and God's gifts to the church (apostles, prophets evangelists, teachers, and pastors), revelation (light/understanding) comes. When revelation comes, you must repent (turn) from your old way of thinking and line up your thoughts, words, and actions with His word. Not because you think it makes sense, but because it is His word. And He is God!

In last week's class, we discussed fullness but were first asked 3 questions:

1.) How do you qualify for what God has? The answer is very simple. You qualify just by being born into the human race.
2.) How do you get what God has? You have to be born again spiritually.
3.) How do you maintain what God has? You have to be continuously filled with the Holy Ghost. How does that happen? By speaking to yourself in psalms, hymns and spiritual hymns.

Everything we have need of is already inside of us. Romans 5:17 - For if by the trespass of the one (the one being Adam), death reigned through the one (Adam); so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

Because of Adam's sin, we have been given an abundance of grace, hallelujah!

We were then asked another thought provoking question: If you knew a man that had $1 million dollars in his bank account, but was begging for food, what would you think? One would think that man is crazy, right? The same can be said for ourselves. Knowing there is an abundance of grace in our account, why are we still struggling in our circumstances? Why don't we draw what we need from that account? The way to receiving what we need is by being filled with the Holy Spirit, that will lead us and guide us into all truth.

The Holy Spirit takes what Jesus has and shows it to you so that you can have it. But you cannot have what you cannot see! We struggle with getting by financially, emotionally, spiritually, etc. because we believe that we have all the answers. That could not be further from the truth. We need to be lead by the Holy Spirit, not by our human efforts. What better way to obtaining all that is ALREADY in us than by following the one who knows how to access it?

What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? It is the coming of the kingdom of God. It is Christ taking over in a life. No more do I live unto myself-that is over with! Now, thank God, according to His eternal purpose, He has taken over.  More»
