I have been praying for my agency since I started working there in July 2008. Just recently, we received word that the agency may be shutting down because our funder would no longer fund our program. I talked to God about this and asked Him what I could do to stop this from happening. I reminded God that I have prayed for this agency, the work that is done there and the 85-100 lives that would be affected by a shutdown. Closing was imminent. I have always been open with my coworkers about my faith and when everyone else was saying this is the end and I was saying not so. We found out on 12/21/12 that we have 6 months to come up with new programs because our current program will not be funded after 6/30/13. I believe God honored my prayers and supplications for this agency and the people who would be adversely affected and kept the proposed ruins at bay. He is concerned about everything we are concerned about in our lives and if we walk in what we carry, He will work through us to bring healing to our land. Praise God for His mercy and grace.

At RTN we have been taught to know what we carry; to know when God is speaking to us; to know when and what to speak. I have been learning literally on a daily basis when to speak and what to say according to God's insturctions. I have overcome my fear of rejection, of people not receiving what I say, of people getting angry and have replaced it with the peace that I am obedient to God and will not stop doing his Will. I recognize that as long as I am doing what He has instructed, I can't worry about how the person(s) receive it (or not). I believe that because it is from God, that eventually the person(s) receiving the message will see the Truth in what was shared with them. I walk in faith and not in fear. Praise His Holy Name!

Yesterday's outreach was so blessed. The Holy Spirit showed up. Me, Brother Beau, Bro. LaQuan and Sis. Terre teamed up and God was with us. We had a great team. Me and Sis Terre went to one house and a young boy answered the door. When Sis. Terre aske if he needed prayer for anything, he said that he didn't personally, but that his mom was upstairs in bed and couldn't get out of the bed because of really bad asthma due to this weather. So Sis. Terre prayed and the young man was very gratfuel. There were 3 boys in the house and when he told his little brother (the cutest lil thing in a spider man hat) to say thank you to us, he just ran up to me and gave me a big ole' hug. Brother LaQuan and Brother Beau hit a house a couple of doors down and across the street from the house that we had just finished with and called us over. The lady of the house was suffering emotionally from the death and absence of her husband and had been wounded in her former church home. Sis. Terre prayed for her and her family in regards to her husband being gone and for the Holy Spirit to lead her and plant her in the church that he wants her in. I prayed for the healing of emotional wounds and past hurts. The woman just hugged me really tight and cried. I embraced her as well. She said that she knows that God sent us 4 to her house. There was another house that we went to and I don't think that the man had any heat. When we handed the man the basket and ham, his face lit up, it almost looked as if he took on the countenance of a 5 year old with the toy of his dreams. I don't think that he spoke much english but he said thank you and God bless you. Sis. Terre also prayed for another woman at another house and the woman was thankful for the basket. Yesterday was a success in Jesus' name. People are hungry and hurting financially, emotinally and physically and I believe that seeds were planted in the lives of those few people on yesterday. Thnak God for Jesus!

This year in my church with outreaches and weekly services there were over one hundred commitments by new believers and those rededicating their lives to Christ. I currently lead and work with those who follow up on everyone. We encourage everyone to start creating an intimate relationship with Christ and for them to attend our Christian Foundations class; which will help them to begin to build their spiritual foundation. I am also the teacher for that course. Many of them attend. When making calls
(especially during the class) you get to know peoples stories, lives and trials. With many people I can see and experience their development for the love and passion for God. Our last two classes are on the Holy Spirit and Tongues. My pastor teaches the last class on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Many during the last class receive and begin to speak in tongues. I can truly testify that there's no greater fulfillment than answering the call of God and working together with Him to touch and change lives. I give God all of the glory.

On 12/16/12 my church had an evangelistic outreach at the Westfield Mall in Milford. We prayed and God opened the door for us to be able to openly witness and we handed out several hundred tracks to those in the mall. Our choir sang praises to Jesus and declared Him the Son of God and Savior of the world. We distributed approximately 50 English and Spanish bibles and in the end people raised their hands and accepted Jesus as Lord. God is God all by Himself.

Answered pray for the 11/16/12 back pain I experienced. During class on 11/19 Richard prayed for healing and a creative miracle because he saw in the spirit that the bone at the end of my spine was also showing degeneration. I felt immediate relief. When I went home, for the next two weeks, the pain returned. Each time I stated that I had received my creative miracle and just like the lepers received their manifested healing (as they walked), so did I. Then I began to walk (and run) praising God. Every time the pain would subside or leave. I had to do this several times a day. Towards the end of two weeks it was completely gone. Every now and then the pain tries to come back. I just repeat the above declarations and praise God and it goes away again. I walk in my victory and refuse to let it go; to God be the glory.

In the middle of our October 1st class, Richard said that God was going to reveal matters to us in dreams in the month of November. On the night of November 26th, I had a dream of an old friend from high school. She was taking me around San Francisco showing me the city's artistic side (architecture, paintings, et cetera). It's hard for me to explain, but I am able to discern when the dream has a Godly purpose. We were very close friends and I had not talked to her in a while. I sent her a message the next morning asking her if she had any plans to go to San Francisco. Apparently, on the day that I had the dream, she contacted a university in San Francisco in regards to their graphic design graduate program. She told me it was her first choice but knew it would be hard to get into. I told her to have faith and believe that she will get accepted. She just found out today that she got in their master's program. Praise God! I gave her my testimony in coming to faith in Christ and shared a few other dreams that I have had that have come to pass (which includes one of my friend's health getting miraculously restored). Glory to God! I am thankful that He has given me the opportunity to speak faith, hope, and love into the life of a dear friend.

Two weeks after I was born-again, my mother noticed a drastic shift was being made in my life. She asked me what was going on and I did my best at that time to explain what had happened that Easter Sunday. I was raised Roman Catholic and had been attending Sunday mass every week for the past 12 years or so. My parents seemed to be happy for me but could not quite understand what the good Lord was doing in my life. Neither of my parents have read the Bible on their own time, thinking that they received enough of the Word on Sunday. For the past seven months, I have been working on opening their hearts and minds to the Word of God. My uncle passed away last week and my mom needed the comfort and peace of the King. As I was reading Scriptures of healing and comfort to her, she asked me if she could read my Action Bible. I understand that it is not an "adult" version but I believe it will aid my mom in her search for the Lord. I see her hunger for His Word grow day by day. I want to thank God the Father in the name of His Son, Jesus, for what He has allowed me to speak into my mother's walk of faith.

Blessings everyone! God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can even imagine. I had an office manager who struggled with an alcohol problem. She started drinking at the age of 16 and is now 51 and drinks all day. She would come to work sometimes barely able to talk, but somehow she was able to function. She is from Ireland and has no family here in America. She is single and has no children. I had alot of compassion for her. I would talk to her about Jesus but she would always change the subject. Recently she was fired and I still kept in contact with her. In her becoming unemployed, the alcohol use increased. Last week she was found on the sidewalk passed out and was taken to Stamford Hospital. She had a very serious infection in her intestines and I am assuming because of the symptoms she stopped drinking alcohol. This led her to withdrawl. I was facebooked with the news Sunday 10/21 by one of her friends and I called the Hospital. She was drugged to the point she couldn't even communicate. The past week in RTNKC we have been learning about the proper way to heal. Monday 10/22 after class I got into prayer and I commanded her body to be made whole. I spoke against the spirit of depression that caused her to drink. Today 10/24 I got report that she is concious! They decreased the medication intake by half and she has agreed to move back home to Ireland with her family and enter into rehab!!! She wants to meet with me before she goes back to Ireland. God is truly faithful!!

What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? It is the coming of the kingdom of God. It is Christ taking over in a life. No more do I live unto myself-that is over with! Now, thank God, according to His eternal purpose, He has taken over.  More»
